Master David Reed |
Master David Reed received his 3rd and 4th DAN Master
Black Belt Certificate and Instructor Certificates from Grand Master
Jae Joon Kim. Master Reed is a gifted instructor and technician of
the art of Tang Soo Do. He has been Instructing at United States Tang
Soo Do, Inc. since advancing to 3rd and 4th DAN Master. Master Reed
is a prominent Landscape Architect and is the founder and owner of
David Reed Landscape Architects in San Diego, California. Master Reed's

Master Pinguino Kolb
|
Master Pinguino Kolb is a 6th DAN Master Instructor in Tang Soo Do.
Ms. Kolb received all of her first five DAN Black Belt Certificates
and Master Instructor Certificates from Grand Master Jae Joon Kim until
his death. Master Kolb received her 6th DAN Black Belt certificate and
6th DAN Master Instructor Certificate from World Martial Arts Testing
Authority, Inc. Master Kolb is a gifted designer for a major movie studio
and resides in the Hollywood, California area. She is the owner of the
Penguin Palace art studio and is a prominent comic book artist with
many publications. She also specializes in celebrity photography for

Master Scott Robert
Frazier |
|
Master Scott Frazier is the son of Master Sam Frazier and started
his Tang Soo Do training in August of 1992 in Southern California. As
a full-time martial arts student and part-time assistant instructor
he worked his way up the ranks and promoted to 1st Dan in December of
1994. After promoting to black belt, Master Frazier participated in
several karate competitions earning multiple first place finishes in
Forms, Sparring, and Breaking events. His most coveted competition finish,
however, was a seventh place finish in the Las Vegas International Karate
Championships in the Male 18+ Black Belt Weapons Event where he displayed
a custom Nunchaku form.
He continued his training and teaching and earned his Tang Soo Do Head-Instructor
certificate and 2nd Dan in 1996. He opened a Tang Soo Do school, Pacific
Coast Martial Arts (PCMA), in three locations in Valley Center, Rancho
Santa Fe, and Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base, California. While teaching
and operating PCMA, Master Frazier spent several years participating
on demonstration teams that traveled to nearby communities to introduce
the positive influence of Tang Soo Do. Master Frazier earned his 3rd
Dan in 2003.
After several years of training and teaching Tang Soo Do, Master Frazier
retired PCMA and pursued a life-long dream of serving in the United
States Air Force. In 2003, Master Frazier commissioned as an officer
in the Air Force and entered Pilot Training. He has spent the last
several years as an Instructor Pilot in Air Force jet trainers in Del
Rio, Texas. Currently, Master Frazier is stationed at Charleston Air
Force Base, Charleston, South Carolina and flies the C-17A Globemaster
III aircraft.
Master Frazier promoted to 4th Dan in 2008, and holds a Bachelor of
Science Degree from California State University, San Marcos and a Master’s
of Science degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,
Daytona Beach Florida. |

Master Dorothy Read
|
Master Dorothy Read, 5th Dan and owner of East County Family Martial
Arts. Began her studies of Tang Soo Do at Pacific Tang Soo Do in the
1991 where she trained until 1995. She then joined Martial Arts America
1998 where she trained for several years and began an Instructor training
program. She received her 1st Dan and Instructor certification in 2000.
She continued her studies at MMA where she developed weapon skills along
with traditional values of Martial Arts at which time she received the
rank of 4th Dan Master Instructor in 2006. Master Read Received her
5th DAN Master and Master Instructor promotions from World MATA in 2008.
Master Read opened her own studio in 2007 where she continues the traditions
of Tang Soo Do today. |

Pamela Sue Frazier |
Pamela Sue Frazier, BS in Education, Ohio State University , Masters
in Education, San Diego State University , Masters in Education Administration,
San Diego State University . Pam Frazier, wife of Master Frazier, is
a California Certificated Special Education teacher and Resource Specialist,
retired from the San Diego Unified School District after 40 years. Mrs.
Frazier formulated a modern, effective and successful teaching format
for Sam Frazier Schools of Tang Soo Do, United States Tang Soo Do, Inc
and World Martial Arts Testing Authority, Inc. Mrs. Frazier has been
the primary force in updating the teaching techniques resulting in a
modern professional martial arts education program. Students are properly
trained and more effectively trained with much faster progress than
traditionally outdated methods. Since 1989, Mrs. Frazier has been the
Educational Consultant developing and monitoring all training of all
students including students who are physically and/or emotionally challenged.
Mrs. Frazier is the leading United States authority in martial arts
education for students with special needs.
